1. About R2GConnect
R2GConnect is an online platform operated by Research2Guidance GmbH that enables healthtech startups, healthcare organizations, investors, service providers, leadership candidates and other ecosystem participants to discover opportunities, publish Open Calls, exchange information and connect with each other.
R2GConnect acts solely as a technology platform. Unless explicitly agreed in writing, Research2Guidance does not act as a recruitment agency, broker, investment advisor, procurement advisor, legal advisor or representative of any user.
By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
If you register on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act on its behalf.
3. User Accounts
You agree to:
- provide accurate and up-to-date information
- keep your login credentials confidential
- maintain the security of your account
- notify us immediately of unauthorized access.
You are responsible for all activities performed through your account.
4. Platform Services
R2GConnect provides tools including, but not limited to:
- company profiles
- Open Calls
- Innovation Channels
- Investor Calls
- Leadership opportunities
- service provider offers
- Expert Cohorts
- messaging
- AI-assisted search and recommendations
- innovation scouting tools
- market intelligence features.
Features may change, be added or removed without prior notice.
We do not guarantee that any particular feature will always remain available.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you upload, including company profiles, applications, leadership profiles, pitch decks, videos, messages and other materials.
You grant Research2Guidance a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, display and use such content solely for operating, improving and promoting the platform.
You confirm that:
- you own or are authorized to submit the content
- your content does not infringe third-party rights
- your content complies with applicable law.
We may remove content that violates these Terms or may expose us or other users to legal or commercial risk.
6. AI Features
Some platform features use artificial intelligence to generate recommendations, summaries, rankings or other outputs.
AI-generated results:
- are provided for informational purposes only
- may contain inaccuracies
- should not be considered legal, medical, financial, investment or professional advice
- should always be independently reviewed before making business decisions.
Research2Guidance does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or suitability of AI-generated content.
7. Matching and Introductions
R2GConnect facilitates introductions between users.
Research2Guidance:
- does not guarantee matches
- does not guarantee responses
- does not guarantee business opportunities
- does not verify every statement made by users
- does not guarantee that information submitted by users is accurate, complete or current.
Users are solely responsible for evaluating potential partners before entering into any commercial relationship.
8. Leadership Search
Leadership profiles may be displayed anonymously until the candidate chooses to disclose their identity.
Companies and candidates are solely responsible for evaluating each other.
Research2Guidance does not perform executive search, employment verification, background checks or candidate assessments unless separately agreed in writing.
9. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- submit false or misleading information
- impersonate another person or organization
- infringe intellectual property rights
- upload malicious software
- interfere with platform operation
- misuse contact information obtained through the platform
- scrape, harvest or copy platform data without permission
- use automated bots except where explicitly permitted.
10. Intellectual Property
The platform, software, design, branding, databases, AI workflows and all platform content (excluding User Content) remain the exclusive property of Research2Guidance GmbH or its licensors.
No ownership rights are transferred to users.
11. Third-Party Services
The platform may integrate third-party services such as payment providers, video platforms, calendar services, AI providers or communication tools.
We are not responsible for the availability, security or performance of third-party services.
Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.
12. Fees and Payments
Certain platform features require paid subscriptions or one-time payments.
Unless otherwise stated:
- fees are non-refundable
- subscriptions renew according to the selected billing period unless cancelled before renewal
- applicable taxes may be added where required by law.
Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access.
13. Availability
We aim to provide a reliable platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
We may:
- perform maintenance
- update features
- suspend access
- discontinue services
at any time.
14. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”
Research2Guidance makes no warranties regarding:
- uninterrupted availability
- accuracy of user content
- suitability for any purpose
- business success
- successful recruitment
- successful fundraising
- successful partnerships
- successful procurement
- successful innovation scouting outcomes.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Research2Guidance GmbH, its directors, employees and affiliates shall not be liable for:
- indirect damages
- consequential damages
- loss of profits
- loss of revenue
- loss of business opportunities
- loss of data
- reputational damage
- business interruption
- decisions made based on platform content or AI-generated outputs.
Our total liability arising from the use of the platform shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the Services during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by mandatory law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, fraud or personal injury.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Research2Guidance GmbH from claims, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from:
- your use of the platform
- your User Content
- your breach of these Terms
- your violation of applicable law
- infringement of third-party rights.
17. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts at any time where:
- these Terms are violated
- fraudulent activity is suspected
- continued access presents legal, security or operational risks.
Users may delete their accounts at any time, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.
18. Privacy
Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using the platform, you acknowledge that personal data will be processed as described in that policy.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will always be published on the platform.
Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
To the extent permitted by law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction shall be Berlin, Germany.
Mandatory consumer protection rights remain unaffected where applicable.
